Beginning May 3rd, all runs will start at 8 AM!!!!

 
Saturday, April 26st, we will run the  Walnut Canyon Road/Arizona Trail 
meeting at 9AM. From Flagstaff, take Country Club Drive (Country Club I-40
exit heading south) to Old Walnut Canyon Road and turn left (golf driving range 
is on your left).  This road turns into Forest Road 303 and follow it 3.8 miles to
 the trailhead Parking lot that is located on the right side of the road. Leave 
an extra 10 minutes as the old Walnut Canyon Road has lots of ruts.

May 3, 2008, we will run the 6 mile Soldier’s Trail at Fort Tuthill at 8 AM. Bob and

Karen Caravona will host a pancake breakfast immediately following the run!

Meet at the back (northwest) parking lot at 8 AM.  Fort Tuthill is located

on the west side of the Flagstaff Airport exit.  Follow the entrance road all the

 way to the northwest parking lot.

 

May 10, 2008, we will run up Schultz Creek to Little Gnarly down Brookbank
and return via Rocky Ridge (about 9 miles).  Some may chose to turn around at the 
Lincoln Logs and run 7 miles or less.  Meet at the dirt pullout above the Schultz Creek
Trailhead at 8:00 AM (just past the last private home on the left).  
For those of you from out of town, go north on HWY 180 past the Museum of 
Northern Arizona. Make a right on Schultz Creek Road and then follow it as it 
eventually bears left.  The starting point is the Trailhead is just past the last home 
on the right. 
 
May 17, 2008, the group run is cancelled in favor of the first race of the Summer Season, 
the Run for the Mountain 10K.
 
May 24, 2008, we will run the Waterline Road to the Tunnel and back (About 7 miles). 
Meet at the Schultz Tank Trailheads at 8 AM. For those of you wishing to commute,
meet at the pullout past the last private home on Schultz Creek
Road at 7:45 AM.  For those of you from out of town, go north on 
HWY 180 past the Museum of Northern Arizona.  Make a right on 
Schultz Creek Road and then follow it as it eventually bears
left. The Schultz Tank Trailhead is about 4.5 miles past the last private home 
on Schultz Creek Road.
 
May 31, 2008, we will run and monitor the Sandy Seep Trail (about 7 miles). 
Meet at the trailhead north of town on Highway 89, just past Elden Pueblo. 
 
June 7, 2008, the group run is cancelled in favor of the NACA 10K/5K.
 

June 14, 2008, we will begin our training runs for the Soulstice Mountain

Trail Run at 8AM, meeting at the Sunset Trailhead (First loop – 6.3 miles).

For those of you wishing to commute, meet at the pullout past the last private home

on Schultz Creek Road at 7:45 AM.  For those of you from out of town, go north on

HWY 180 past the Museum of Northern Arizona.  Make a right on 
Schultz Creek Road and then follow it as it eventually bears
left. The Sunset Trailhead is about 4.5 miles past the last private home 

on Schultz Creek Road. 

 
June 21, 2008, the run is cancelled in favor of the Flagstaff Nordic Center’s Gaspin in 
the Aspen Races.
 
June 28, 2008, the run is cancelled in favor of the downtown Run for Your Life 
Hospice Race.
 
July 5th, 2008 We will run the Campbell Mesa Trail System. From Flagstaff,
 take Country Club Drive (Country Club I-40 exit heading south) to Old Walnut 
Canyon Road and turn left (golf driving range is on your left)Follow this past 
the lake and the trailhead is the parking lot on the left hand side of the road.
This run is about 6 miles long.
 
July 12th, 2008 meet at the Thorpe Park Bark Park. Our run will be out to 
the beautiful meadow by A-1 Mountain via the Urban TrailThis run is about
 11 miles and can take up to 2 hoursThere is a steep hill to begin with but 
the remainder is relatively flatFor those of you from out of town, travel north 
under railroad tracks on Milton Road (main drag from 1-17). At the first stoplight 
make a left towards downtownThen turn left on Cherry Street (third street), 
and follow to the endMake a right and you will see the softball complex and Bark Park.

Little Bear and down Sunset (About 8 miles). For those of you wishing to commute,

Saturday July 26, 2008, the group run is cancelled in favor of NATRA and

 Flagstaff Biking Organization’s Arizona Trail Day. Help construct one of

the final pieces of the Arizona Trail! For reservations and questions,

August 2 and August 9, 2008 the group runs are cancelled in favor of the two

local races the Children’s Health Center 5 and 10Ks and the Big Brother’s

Big Sister’s Half Marathon and 5K
