Thanks to the sponsorship from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, the 6th Annual Flagstaff Summer Running Series is a go! The package price will be $150 (still at $25/race), a great value! The competitive series will again be scored on your best 3 of 6 races (10K, 15K and Half Marathon distances only) with your score determined by your percentile finish within your gender. You can still race in 5Ks, but you will not be scored as those are considered fun runs. Non-competitive runners can race any distances.  AVDomotics Home Automation will raffle two blue ray DVD players for runners who complete ALL 6 races (any distances or run 5 and volunteer at one race). Salomon Sports will once again award 30 pairs of their latest and greatest trail shoes to top finishers. We will also have the year end barbecue picnic and Aspen Sports prize raffle at a yet determined location and date. Race dates are May 22:Run for the Mountain School 5K/10K; June 5:NACA Sacred Mountain Prayer 5K/10K, June 19:Gaspin in the Aspen 5K/15K; June 26:Northland Hospice Run/Walk 5K/10K; August 7:Machine Solutions Soldiers Trail 5/10K; and August 14:Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff 5K/Half Marathon Run/Walk.
